Grand Rapids
Whether you call it Furniture City or Beer City, Grand Rapids has made a name for itself as the second largest city in Michigan. Several institutes of higher learning reside in the city, and its many bars and breweries help give Grand Rapids its cool reputation. The Grand River pierces through the city, where its mighty rapids are met with towering skyscrapers. There’s never a dull day or night in the city, with fun and festivities sprinkled throughout each side of the river. You can tour one of its many museums, or stroll down Frederik Meijer Gardens on a sunny afternoon. Catch a Griffins game or lose yourself in a concert at the Van Andel Arena. When Art Prize comes around the city is covered in a wide array of beautiful art, and Laugh Fest is always a good time!

Grandville
Grandville may be one of the oldest suburbs of Grand Rapids, but it’s still a growing community. Its location at the “river-bend” of the Grand River made it an important settlement during the logging era, and Grandville is still an ideal location today. I-196 runs alongside the city, making it a short and simple commute to Grand Rapids. Millennium Park and John Ball Zoo are both just a short drive away, so it’s a fantastic place to raise a family. Grandville is home to the RiverTown Crossings Mall, a two-story enclosed super-regional shopping mall. It is the largest mall in West Michigan and features several department stores, a movie theater, and even a carousel. There are an abundance of stores and restaurants that surround the mall, making Grandville a huge shopping hub in the Grand Rapids area.

Holland
Holland is famous for two things: Its tulip time festivities and large Dutch influence. Walking through this historic Dutch settlement is like visiting a Little Netherlands. The downtown is so beautiful, it’s no wonder that singer-songwriter Sufjan Stevens dedicated a whole song to it! You can ride your bike down to Lake Macatawa, Hope College, Windmill Island Gardens, or Neil’s Dutch Village to take in the city’s rich culture. Tunnel Park is just a short drive away, where you can spend the evening watching Lake Michigan’s mighty waves. Every May, the city transforms into a giant garden full of colorful tulips. It is the largest tulip festival in the United states and is known for its fun events and notable guests.

Spring Lake
Just east of Grand Haven and Ferrysburg lies the idyllic community of Spring Lake. This vital, friendly, intimate village is located on a peninsula encompassed on three sides by Spring Lake and the Grand River. It’s a boating and recreational paradise with lots of public access, including many boat, kayak, and canoe launches, sandy beaches, and fishing sites. The village began its growth in 1835 and, like many lakeshore towns, the first sawmill was built in 1845 to engage in the lumber trade. Today, Spring Lake comprises an abundance of shops, services, restaurants, wine stores, art galleries, salons, and spas! There are great residential offerings including single family houses, apartments, and waterfront condominiums.
